Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka is a native of Minsk which is the capital city of Belarus. Sergey Her father (who passed away in 2019) was an ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born 5 May 1998, in Minsk Belarus. Aryna is the holder of twelve WTA Singles titles. One of which was crowned 'Grand Slam' in the Australian Open 2023. Doubles is her forte and she has also won Majors in her first major tournaments, the US Open (2019) and Australian Open (2021), both of which were together with Elise Mertens. The year she was born, she won each of in the WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian teammate, and completed what is known as the Sunshine Double. The Sunshine Double was only possible for four couples. accomplish this feat on women's doubles. Her ranking went from second to third in World Singles Rankings at the end of August on the 23rd, 2021. Her best ranking was again achieved in January 2023. The same year she won at Melbourne in the following year, and then moved up to number one worldwide in doubles. Dmitry Tursunov coached her between 2018 until the close of 2019 and also a portion of the early 2020. Dieter Kindlmann also served as the coach she had for a short period between August and September of 2020. She has been trained by her native hero Antonio Dubrov since the end of 2020. Serena Williams, and Maria Sharapova are her idols.
